“I had a teacher contact me regarding a student that was having a job interview after school. She asked if I could help by providing her an outfit to wear because what she had on wasn’t appropriate for the interview. I had her send the student to me so I could help prepare her for the interview. I provided her with a shirt, sweater, and shoes. We talked a little bit about the questions they might ask her and then she was on her way. The next day I saw her and asked how it went. She said she got the job! It made me feel good that I was able to help her. Even though she accomplished it on her own, I was lucky to be able to help behind the scenes!”
