“A team of 20 volunteers meets monthly at First English Lutheran Church to assemble bags of food for Wayne County elementary students. We assemble and deliver food bags to 400 children in all 5 Wayne County school corporations. In addition to the individual food bags, boxes of snacks are distributed to the secondary schools in Wayne County. With that being said, well over 400 children receive food every month from CIS of Wayne County. All this could not happen without our dedicated volunteers and donations from Reid Health, United Way, and other organizations.”
