“It has been a busy December! I have had a lot of support from the community to provide some of my families with gifts for Christmas. Olive Garden provided a giving tree, The Bottle Shop sponsored two students, Blue Buffalo adopted one family with three students, Martins Country Mart in Fountain City sponsored two families, Derrick Boardman and Rob Bussing (supervisors at Primex Plastics) sponsored one student, A New Thing Ministries sponsored a student, and Primex Plastics sponsored two families (one from NHS and one from Starr Elementary School). It has been incredible to be able to help all of these families, it really makes you feel the warmth of Christmas time! Along with providing gifts I have also been helping provide these families and others with food boxes from the school and from CIS contacts. I love my job and it is awesome working with such an amazing team!”
