School Partnerships: Richmond Test Middle School

Test "Dads" currently have 10 active dads, grandfathers and retired teachers. Their mission is to be positive male role models. Three Test "Dads" came to the music program the last day of school in December. Mrs. Spicer introduced them and when one of the "Dads" (a retired teacher) sat down in the bleachers, another student said “My dad is one of those guys.” The "Dads" are planning to attend athletic events, dances, and have a fun night at Test in the spring. One of the "Dads" will open the exercise room one day a week for students to do physical fitness.

One of our school families recently lost their home. Bobbie worked tirelessy and assisted the family with locating new housing as well as clothing for the children. She also assisted the mother with applying for employment.
