Making the Right Connection

When "Keisha" and her mom showed up to register at Test Intermediate School, CIS Site Coordinator Renee Morris had a little trouble seeing how nervous they were. Wouldn't Keisha get lost in this big building? And how could they afford school supplies so she wouldn't show up empty-handed and be laughed at on her first day. A tour of the building (during which Keisha and her mom got to meet her teachers) solved teh first problem and Tools for Schools provided Keisha with the school supplies she was missing. Easy solutions...but only because Renee was there to make the connection.
