School Partnerships: Richmond Garrison Elementary

Mrs. Slier, the CIS site coordinator, has been working with a sixth-grader to help her make better choices, improve her behavior, and raise her grades. In the process, she and the student have built a wonderful relationship and Mrs. Slier received a report from the principal recognizing the student’s progress. Success stories like this show how important it is to have a one-on-one relationship with a caring adult.
