A police officer came to Crestdale to talk to the students about bullying. Officer Lipps has been working for the police department for 20 years. Officer Lipps was a criminal when he was in his teen years. He has been bullied but also he has bullied people when he was between the ages of 10 to 15. Bullying is the wrong thing to do. In jail you don’t have any freedom. He is trying to encourage kids to do the right thing and not go to jail. Battery is when someone hits another person. Officer Lipps really hopes that kids make the right choices or they will end up in jail like he did. While in school students need to make sure they follow directions and listen to the teachers. During your life you need to make goals ahead of time so you don’t get into trouble. Bullying is against the law and you can be arrested for it. The youngest you can be arrested is 8 years old. You are the future for your city and you can’t be a leader if you bully. Don’t bully!
