CPY - Countywide Partnership for Youth
Youth-serving agencies, educational institutions, governmental entities and individual citizens in Wayne County, Indiana, including representatives of our young people, have formed the Countywide Partnership for Youth (CPY) to pursue the vision. The methodology of the CPY is to determine the risk factors contributing to problem behaviors among our youth and to advocate for a purposeful and cohesive continuum of services and opportunities to reduce those risks. The CPY has prepared a plan based on this methodology which assumes that the efforts and resources of the partners will be focused on achieving the goals of the plan. The CPY will pursue other funding opportunities to address service gaps and to enhance current efforts by the partners. The partners meet together periodically to network and share results, concerns and opportunities.
